In the area south of Lake Garda, several white grape varieties are cultivated such as Trebbiano toscano, Chardonnay, Garganega, Tocai friulano, Malvasia, Riesling italico and Cortese. These grapes, skilfully combined, give rise to Custoza, a dry wine that has been widely appreciated in the Garda area since the 16th century.
